Culver is the Old English word for a dove. It is also the oldest spelling of the family name Collver, and Three Doves is the name Albert and Terra Collver have kept over everything they have made together, from a kennel to a household to this small press.
Three Doves Press publishes Albert’s own books: scholarship, church history, and the family’s four centuries. Its imprint, Captive Conscience Press, publishes books by other authors, made with the same care and remaining the author’s own.
